Performance Yarns

Yarn & Fiber Extrusion

Quantum’s interconnected manufacturing capabilities have been designed to provide extreme flexibility, quick turn development and production cycles all to ensure we are making the highest quality products for our customers.

Today, our extrusion lines are primarily dedicated to the production of the yarns that are used in our own weaving operations. The unique (and highly proprietary) combination of our yarns and weaving technologies is what helps to set our fabrics apart from anyone else in the world.

Over the years, many companies have tried to replicate what we do, and that’s okay because we are always steps ahead. We continue to push ourselves to be the best and consistently execute in delivering the highest quality products to our customers.

As we look to the future, we are not only expanding our extrusion capacity, but also our capabilities. The expansion will support our current customers, and provide us with a new platform for research and development and enhance our production capabilities; allowing us to further diversify our business in new, non-competing industries where we currently do not sell product in to. We are actively looking for new opportunities and invite you to contact us if you want to learn more.

MONOFILAMENT EXTRUSION & YARNS

• Elastomeric & *Hytrel® based yarns

• 5280™ Monofilament Yarns

• Performance enhancing additives and cross-sections

• Solution dyed yarns for inherent, permanent color

Our highly proprietary 5280™ monofilament yarn is a Hytrel® based elastomeric yarn that incorporates an extremely unique combination of various performance enhancing elements and additives. 5280™, the original monofilament, elastomeric yarn, is one of the key components that helps to set our woven mesh fabrics apart from anyone else in the world. Our 5280™ yarn technology is commonly used in the warp direction in our world-class suspension fabrics. This load bearing yarn helps provide our fabrics with ergonomic support and comfort as we as long term performance and exceptional durability.
